AdventistRoommates.org is a service provided by Philip Weston Communications, a Seventh-day Adventist owned small business. We ourselves have gone through the process of finding a roommate and wished there was a common forum where we could connect with other Seventh-day Adventists.
FAQs 1. What does your service cost? - There is no charge for a basic membership in which you can post an ad and respond to it. 2. What will be visible for others to see when they search the database? - They will see your username and the contact information you select to be displayed, like your email address. 3. Something doesn't work on the site, what should I do? - Please contact us so we can work out any software bugs. 4. What if I forget my username and password? - When you first registered, you chose and answered a security question that you can use to help you log in again. Just go to the login page, and click “forgot password” to access your security question. 5. How long will my profile remain active? - Your profile will remain active for as long as you are registered. When you find your roommate, please cancel your account so that your status will be inactive. 6. What if I get contacted by someone that makes me uncomfortable? Please notify the appropriate authorities if you feel you are in danger. We do not vouch for any member's background. It's important to only post contact information that you would feel comfortable being public. Please notify us as well of any inappropriate contact on this site, so we can cancel someone's membership if needed. 7. Is AdventistRoommates.org just for Seventh-day Adventists? No, anyone can use our service, even though it was created for the special interests of Seventh-day Adventists. 8. Just who are the Seventh-day Adventists anyways?
